Reflection Paper

        Although I chose Computer Assisted Language Learning, I do not know what can I learn from it. I very like to use computer but I do not use it in English. I can learn more tool to use it maximizing. The first week, teacher told us how to learn on computer in English. Second, we set our own blog and used it to recognize new friends.

The next four weeks, we learned Internet & Writing. We used Google Syntax and some of dictionaries to learn this part. Next six weeks, learned Internet, Listening & Speaking to learn second part. We used YouTube, Studio Classroom, TED and My ET to learn how to strengthen our listening and speaking. Finally, we learned Internet & Reading to learn the final part. The Open Courseware can increase our reading. I will describe in detail about My ET and Open Courseware.

My ET is a speaking learning platform. It can help me to practice my speaking and redress pronunciation. Furthermore, it has a quiz that I can test my pronunciation whether is progress. When I done one quiz my level will upgrade. It is very interesting. I very like this platform. I can use my cell phone to download this APP, so that I can practice speaking when I want to use it. My ET also has Japanese and Chinese courses. It offer many people to use. I very like this platform. I thought it is better than other English learning platform. So I recommend this software to someone want to improve his/her speaking.

Open Courseware is a platform that someone want to learn some course in internet. I just sit in front of my computer and use mouse & keyboard so that I can learn what I want to learn. Although I am not this school's student. In America this platform is MIT Open Courseware. Most of this page is free but some of need to pay money. In Taiwan is NTU and NCTU Open Courseware. It can help me to enhance reading ability. Although I thought my reading ability is very good.

In the future, I will still use My ET to enhance my speaking ability. And the Open Courseware will use in my free time. These two tool can accompany me in my lifetime. There are very useful to learn English quickly. Furthermore, I can learn more vocabularies in My ET and Open Courseware. There are helpful to me on my TOEIC grade.
